In a preheated frying pan with butter, fry the pieces of meat with finely chopped onions.
Add the carrots, cut into strips. Fry for 3-5 minutes. Add 1/2 cup water and simmer over medium heat, covered for 10-15 minutes, until the meat is tender.
Add mushrooms and simmer for another 5-7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
Place on a plate and sprinkle with finely chopped dill. You can serve buckwheat or mashed potatoes as a side dish.
