Corn porridge on the water

Corn porridge on the water is a dish for your lean or dietary menu. This recipe will show you how to cook corn porridge in water.

Ingredients

Water 500 ml

Corn grits 200 g

Vegetable oil 2 tbsp. l.

Salt 1/2 tsp

Preparation

Pour 200 grams of corn grits into a saucepan.

Rinse the groats.

Add 500 ml of water and 1/2 teaspoon of salt.

Cook until boiling, reduce heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes.

Add 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil to the hot porridge and mix well.

Corn porridge on the water is ready. Arrange on plates and serve.
