Chicken chakhokhbili in a slow cooker

Chakhokhbili made of chicken with vegetables, a delicious Georgian dish, can be very simply cooked in a slow cooker. Great recipe for a family lunch or dinner.

Cooking time 50 minutes


Chicken (boneless pulp) 300 g

Mashed tomatoes 150 g

Carrot 1 pc

Onion 1 pc

Bell pepper 1 pc

Vegetable oil 3 tbsp. l.

Cilantro 1/2 bundle

Paprika 1 pinch.

Zira 1 pinch.

Garlic clove 2 pcs

Salt to taste

Pepper to taste


Cut the chicken into small pieces. Coarsely chop the onion and pepper, grate the carrots.

Fry chicken pieces in a multicooker bowl in vegetable oil. In the "FRY" mode for 3-5 minutes.

Add vegetables and stir. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.

Add spices, salt and mashed tomatoes.

Switch on the EXTINGUISHING program for 30 minutes. Add ½ cup of water if necessary.

At the end of cooking add chopped cilantro and garlic and stir.

Darken a little and serve.
