Vegetable pilaf

Vegetable pilaf, a delicious and satisfying dish that can be prepared in Lent.

Cooking time 1 hour


Loose rice 100 g

Canned green peas 50 g

Bell pepper 1 pc

Onion 1 pc

Carrot 1 pc

Celery (stem) 1 pc

Spices for pilaf 1/2 tsp.

Vegetable oil 3-4 tbsp. l.

Salt to taste


Finely chop the onion and fry in vegetable oil.

Add the diced bell pepper.

Add sliced ​​celery and shredded carrots. Fry for 1-2 minutes.

Add well washed rice and stir.

Add spices and salt. Pour in water so that the water covers all the rice.

Cool the finished pilaf a little.

Add green peas and mix gently.

Arrange on plates and serve.

Delicious vegetable pilaf is ready. Can be served at the table.
