Dumplings with cabbage and cheese

Dumplings, especially homemade ones, are always very tasty. And the dumplings with cabbage and cheese are delicious! And it's not difficult to cook them, especially if you have some stewed cabbage left in the evening.

White cabbage (for filling) 200 g

Hard cheese (for filling) 50 g

Onion (for filling) 1 pc

Vegetable oil (for filling) 3 tbsp. l.

Salt (for filling) to taste

Wheat flour 1st grade (for dough) 500 g

Water (for dough) 200 ml

Egg (for dough) 1 pc

Vegetable oil (for dough) 2 tbsp. l.

Salt (for dough) 1/4 tsp

Vologda butter (for dressing) 50 g

Parsley (greens)


For the filling, peel and finely chop the cabbage and onion.

In a frying pan with vegetable oil, fry the onions and cabbage for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Add a little water and simmer, covered for 3-5 minutes, until tender. Put the cabbage and onions in a bowl and cool.

Add grated cheese and salt to taste. Mix well.

Pour water into a bowl and add an egg.

Add salt, vegetable oil and flour.

Knead the dough by adding flour. You knead the dough and put in the cold for 1 hour.

Roll out the sausage and cut into pieces.

Roll each part into a circle. Put in one teaspoon of the filling.

Pinch the edges and shape the dumplings.

Boil water and salt. Cook the dumplings after surfacing for 10 minutes.

Remove with a slotted spoon and fill with butter.

Arrange the dumplings on plates.

Sprinkle with finely chopped parsley. Delicious original dumplings with cabbage and cheese are ready. Can be served with sour cream.
