Lean dumplings with onions

Lean choux dumplings with fried onions, lean and very tasty.

Cooking time 40 minutes

Ingredients

Flour 600 g

Water 250 ml

Vegetable oil 4 tbsp. l.

Salt 1/2 tsp

Bay leaf 1-2 pcs

Onion 1 pc

Preparation

Boil water in a saucepan, add salt. Add 2 tbsp. tablespoons of vegetable oil.

Add half the flour and, stirring well, knead the dough so that it sticks out from the sides of the saucepan.

Place the dough in a bowl and cool.

Knead the dough, adding the second part of the flour.

Let the dough rest for 10-15 minutes.

Divide the dough into 3-4 pieces. Roll up the strands and cut into small pieces.

Boil 1.5 liters of water in a saucepan, add salt, bay leaves and peppercorns.

Cook dumplings for 4-5 minutes after surfacing.

Fry finely chopped onions for 2 tbsp. tablespoons of vegetable oil until golden brown.

Put the dumplings in plates and season with fried onions.

Lean dumplings with onions are ready. Decorate as desired and serve.
