Millet casserole with minced meat and vegetables

Pour 500 milliliters of water and cook until tender over medium heat, stirring for 15-20 minutes, salt and let the millet boil down completely.

Add finely chopped onion.

Add carrots grated on a coarse grater.

Add diced bell peppers and fry vegetables for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Salt a little and add finely chopped parsley. Transfer the vegetables to a bowl.

Add 300 grams of minced meat and knead well with a spatula.

Fry, stirring occasionally, for 3-4 minutes, season with salt and pepper to taste.

Transfer the boiled millet to a bowl, add 50 grams of grated cheese, 1 egg and a pinch of salt. Mix well.

Lay out half of the millet mass and smooth well.

Add the fried minced meat.

Add vegetables and smooth.

Spread out the second layer of millet mass and smooth well with a spatula.

Grate 100 grams of cheese and put on top.

Bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees C for 15 minutes.

Remove the casserole from the oven and cool slightly.
