Buckwheat in the oven with meatballs

Buckwheat in the oven with meatballs is a great option to cook a delicious lunch or dinner and feed the whole family or a small group of guests.

Cooking time 40 minutes


Minced meat 400 g

Water 350-400 ml

Hard cheese 100 g

Onion 2 pcs

Carrot 1 pc

Unrefined sunflower oil TM "Aleika" 3 tbsp. l.

Breadcrumbs 3 tbsp l.

Parsley (greens) 2-3 branches.

Salt 1/2 tsp

Ground black pepper to taste


Add finely chopped onion and fry for 1-2 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Add grated carrots and cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Add buckwheat to the pan and stir.

Cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Add 1/4 teaspoon of salt and 1 pinch of ground black pepper. Stir and remove from heat.

Put 400 grams of minced meat in a bowl, cut the second onion into small pieces and twist in a meat grinder or chop in a blender.

Add ground onion, 3 tablespoons of bread crumbs, 1/4 teaspoon of salt and 1 pinch of ground black pepper to the minced meat.

Mix the minced meat well and form small meatballs.

Put buckwheat with vegetables in a baking dish.

Add 350-400 ml of water.

Put meatballs on top.

Cook in the oven at 190 degrees C for 30-35 minutes.

Remove the mold from the oven, sprinkle with grated cheese, put back for 3-5 minutes.

Sprinkle the finished dish with finely chopped parsley and season with hot pepper to taste.

Buckwheat in the oven with meatballs is ready. Can be served at the table.
