Stuffed peppers with meat and rice in a saucepan, this is a great reason to prepare a delicious dinner for the whole family or dear guests.
Cooking time 50 minutes
Water 700 ml
Minced meat 500 g
Rice 100 g
Tomato paste 100 g
Bulgarian pepper 6-7 pcs
Onion 1 pc
Carrot 1 pc
Parsley (greens) 1 bunch
Ground black pepper to taste
Sugar 1 pinch.
Salt to taste
Pour 100 grams of rice into a saucepan and rinse well.
Pour 300 ml of water and cook after boiling for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Place the rice on a sieve, rinse with water and let the water drain completely.
Wash 6-7 medium peppers well. Cut off the caps and and remove the seeds.
Place the peppers in a suitable saucepan.
Put 600 grams of minced meat in a bowl.
Add finely chopped onion, grated carrots and finely chopped parsley.
Add boiled rice, 1/2 teaspoon salt and black pepper to taste.
Stuff the peppers with the filling.
Pour 100 grams of tomato paste into a large bowl.
Add 400 ml of water, 1/4 teaspoon of salt and 1 pinch of sugar. Mix.
Pour the tomato sauce over the stuffed peppers.
Cover and cook for 30-35 minutes over medium heat.
