Pumpkin puree

Pumpkin puree, one of the best meals you can make in the fall. Pumpkin puree is a great standalone dish, as well as a base for pumpkin pie, cookies and other fall meals.

Cooking time 25 minutes


Pumpkin (or one small pumpkin) 500 g

Milk 1.5% fat. 200 ml

Butter 50 g



Peel the pumpkin from seeds and peels.

Cut the pumpkin into small pieces.

Put in a saucepan, add half a glass of water, salt and put on fire. Cook over medium heat, covered, until tender.

Transfer the finished pumpkin to a blender bowl.

Add milk and butter.

Mix well in mashed potatoes.

Place the pumpkin puree on a platter and garnish with a sprig of dill. Serve to the table.
