Minced hedgehogs with rice

Delicate minced hedgehogs with rice in tomato sauce are a great option for a hassle-free dinner.

Cooking time 40 minutes

Ingredients

Minced meat 300 g

1/2 cup water

Tomato paste 5-6 tbsp l.

Rice 3 tbsp. l.

Eggs 1 pc

Onion 1 pc

Carrot 1 pc

Vegetable oil 3 tbsp. l.

Garlic clove 1-2 pcs

Green onions to taste

Pepper to taste

Salt to taste

Preparation

Peel the onions and carrots.

Boil the rice until half cooked, rinse and discard on a sieve.

In a bowl, combine the minced meat, half of the chopped onion and rice.

Add salt, pepper and egg.

Mix the minced meat well.

Fry the rest of the onion and grated carrots in a pan with vegetable oil, 1-2 minutes.

Add the pressed garlic to the tomato paste.

Add tomato paste with garlic to the fried vegetables, add a little salt.

Add water and simmer a little.

Form small balls from minced meat.

Add our hedgehogs to the sauce and cover, cook over medium heat for 10-12 minutes.

Turn the meatballs over and cook for another 10-12 minutes.

Place the hedgehogs on a serving dish and sprinkle with finely chopped green onions.
