Potato wedges in the oven

There are a lot of options for cooking potatoes. For example, potatoes can be boiled first, then simply fried in a pan, or, boiled in water and then baked in the oven. To prepare baked potatoes, we need large and washed, but unpeeled potatoes, as well as a lot of spices. Also some hard cheese, preferably Parmesan cheese, fresh parsley, ketchup and about 50 grams of olive oil.

Oven baked potato recipe

The first step is to cut the potatoes in half lengthwise, and then cut each half into slices, about 3-4 slices. In total, from each potato, depending on how much, it should turn out from six to eight slices.

In order to remove the excess starch, you need to put the chopped potatoes in a deep bowl of cold water and stand for about 15-20 minutes. Then drain the water and dry with paper towels.

Collect all the spices and salt in a separate bowl, pour olive oil on top and mix. Dip the potato wedges in the prepared mixture and place in a layer on a baking sheet covered with foil.

Turn on the oven and preheat to 200C. Bake the potatoes for 30 minutes, until the wedges are slightly golden. At the same time, they must remain soft inside, do not overexpose!

Remove from oven and sprinkle while hot with grated cheese and finely chopped parsley. Serve mustard separately with baked potatoes.
