Pies with apple filling

There are more than enough types of pies that are prepared all over the world. Puff pastry pies are very tasty and crispy. The composition and components can be any, it all depends on your preferences. But pastries with a sweet filling will especially delight our kids.

Pastries with filling

The first step is to pour warm milk into a deep bowl, add yeast, sugar to it, mix everything with a spoon and let it brew in a warm place for a while, about 15 minutes.

Next, you need to separately melt the butter and cool a little. In another bowl, where we will knead our dough, we drive in the eggs, pour the melted butter and mix, gradually adding flour.

After the above steps, after kneading the dough, cover with a kitchen towel and leave to rise for an hour and a half in a warm place.

While our dough is resting we prepare the apple filling.

Peel a certain amount of apples specified in the ingredients from the peel and cut them into small cubes. Add the chopped apples to the pan and add sugar. Bring to a light boil, reduce and then continue to simmer under a closed lid over moderately low heat, for about ten minutes, until the apples are soft. Remember to stir while braising.

When the filling is ready, remove the pan from the heat, add vanillin and lemon juice to the hot filling, or add a little cinnamon if desired.

Divide the dough that has come up into small pieces, roll out each one separately, put the apple filling in them, form small pies.

Grease a baking sheet with butter, spread the pies, grease the surface with a beaten egg to give a blush. Let it brew for another 20 minutes, then send it to the preheated oven, bake our apple pies at 180 degrees for 20-30 minutes.

For baking, sweet and sour apples and preferably ripe fruits are used, which during the cooking process, the apples should noticeably soften and take a mashed potatoes shape.
