Shortbread cookies with butterfly jam

First of all, prepare shortbread dough, for 2 minutes, at medium speed, use a blender to scroll the cream cheese, butter, sugar and salt. Next, at a slow speed, add the specified amount of flour in the ingredients in portions and mix until you have a crumbly dough as shown in photo 2.

The finished dough must be rolled into a ball and after that, it must be rolled into a moderately thin layer, about 3 mm thick, then cut into uniform squares about 6 cm wide.

Turn on the oven, set 180 degrees. In the meantime, following our recipe for shortbread cookies, we will continue to prepare the filling: in the middle of each chopped dough, put one teaspoon of jam with a slide, slightly trim and fasten two opposite corners located on the cross exactly in the center (see Figure 6).

Line a baking sheet with baking paper. Leaving a distance, spread all the stuffed pastries on a baking sheet and send to the preheated oven. Bake for no more than 15 minutes.

When ready, let cool for a couple of minutes, then transfer to a separate dish and sprinkle with powdered sugar on top.
