This is a very useful, one might even say irreplaceable by-product during the period of active growth. Chicken hearts are recommended for use during pregnancy and are equally beneficial for children and adolescents. Of course, they can and should be consumed by everyone without age restrictions.
How to make chicken hearts
The first step is to thoroughly rinse the hearts.
Then the white part, including the aorta, should be separated from them.
Cut the onions into small cubes. You can use both red and white.
Pour a small amount of vegetable oil into the pan, about one tablespoon. Lightly fry the onions and lay out the hearts.
Simmer covered over low heat, stirring occasionally for 15 minutes.
Next, we will prepare the sauce!
And for this we need 100 grams of tomato paste and 100 ml. cream
Combine them in one deep bowl and mix until smooth.
Pour the finished sauce into a frying pan, pour 1 glass of warm water.
Mix everything thoroughly. Then add salt to taste.
Add dried herbs and other spices.
Next, simmer under the lid for about half an hour!
By this time, the sauce should boil down and acquire a rich appetizing color. If it turns out that the hearts are not ready yet, and the sauce is thick, then you can add a little more warm, or better hot, water.
