Lemon marmalade at home

Without any dyes and chemical additives, you can easily prepare a favorite delicacy of both children and adults from natural and more fully accessible products - lemon marmalade. It is not scary to give such a culinary product to children, from which, in fact, they are always delighted.

Nowadays, when the production of marmalade has become massive, manufacturers began to use cheaper substances such as starch, synthetic dyes, bone gelatin and all kinds of artificial flavors. So the question is - why such a product, if you can make natural marmalade yourself at home

How to make marmalade at home

In a separate bowl, dilute the gelatin with cold pre-boiled water and let it soak for 10 minutes

In the meantime, in another deep bowl, pour sugar with water, put it on the stove and bring it to a boil, mixing all the time, and then cook it until the sugar dissolves and thickens

Remove the sugar syrup from the heat, pour the diluted gelatin there and add squeezed lemon juice while filtering

Mix everything thoroughly, pour it into a special silicone mold or into a wide dish and transfer it to the refrigerator, until it solidifies completely, for about 2 hours.

After a while, carefully release from the dishes and cut into small square pieces. Can also be cut with a patterned mold

Roll the lemon dessert in sugar and you can start eating, while we do not forget to share it with everyone - more children!

Using this recipe, you can make marmalade not only from lemon, but also from other fruits and berries, which turns out to be no less tasty!
