Braised pork with zucchini

For lunch, when you urgently need to cook tasty and satisfying, zucchini with pork will be just right. It is not necessary to memorize the recipe, because braised pork with zucchini is not a whimsical dish that can be cooked in different ways and it always turns out to be equally tasty. The combination of pork and zucchini is a good option, the best thing you can cook for lunch.

In general, almost any dish can be prepared from pork. Such meat goes well with almost any vegetables. Seasonally, when zucchini is not yet available, we recommend making a roast with potatoes, which is also quick and easy to cook.

Pork pulp, preferably the neck, cut into small random pieces, like a roast.

Heat oil in a frying pan and fry the meat for a short time. Then add the onion, cut into half rings or cubes, stir and cook on simmer until the meat is tender, about 10 minutes.

By that time, prepare the zucchini: cut them into thin slices, and chop the greens at random.

After 10 minutes, transfer the chopped zucchini to the pan, add the herbs, pepper and salt. After stirring thoroughly, fry first over medium heat for no more than 2 minutes, then cover the lid and continue simmering for another 5 minutes.

Pour the finished dish into plates and serve hot pork roast for everyday lunch.

As for stewing, the zucchini must be cooked until it becomes moderately soft, but not overcooked, otherwise, with long heat treatment, most of the useful properties die. Usually, cooking takes no more than 10 minutes. However, if you are using a variety of this vegetable, such as zucchini, you can cook even less. And in salads they are generally served raw.
