Baked cutlets with potatoes inside

For a variety of the menu, we offer a recipe for economical cutlets with potatoes inside, which are initially fried, and then baked in the most usual way in the oven. Homemade cutlets with filling are another version of the most delicious family dinner.

It is worth noting that the cooking process is simple, and most importantly, such home-style cutlets can be whipped up, which can be taken to work or even served as a festive dish for guests.

Meat cutlets with filling recipe

Prepare the minced meat for the cutlets: for juiciness, add finely diced onion, salt and pepper to taste. Stir all added ingredients.

Peel and rinse the potatoes. Cut into long, not very thin cubes.

Divide the prepared minced meat into about 20 parts, first form a tortilla of them, put the chopped potatoes in the center.

Pulling the edges of the minced meat towards the center, wrap and shape the patties as shown in the photo.

Initially, they should be fried in oil: for this, heat 2 tbsp in a pan. tablespoons of vegetable oil, as far as capacity, place the cutlets with the filling in the pan and fry over medium heat on all sides.

Then, transfer them to a special baking dish, pour broth on top so that the liquid covers the cutlets, add sour cream, salt and pepper, and place the dish in the oven.

Cook in an oven preheated to 180 degrees - 20 minutes, during the baking process, it is advisable to turn the cutlets on the lower side.

Ready-made meat cutlets with potatoes can be served as an independent dish, sprinkled with your own gravy on top and sprinkled with fresh herbs.
