If you've ever tried bean paste, you probably already know the taste, and you will love the recipe for Korean red bean bread. Well, for those who do not yet know what it is, we advise you to definitely cook and taste the taste of sweet Korean-style buns.

You can buy red bean paste in specialty stores, department or market that sells products and spices from China called "Azuki Pasta".

Sweet Bean Buns

Sift flour, mix baking powder (dry yeast), salt and sugar in it. Add melted butter, milk and water at room temperature and knead the dough.

Thoroughly knead the dough, which should not turn out to be very tough, like with regular bread. Like any other, yeast dough should be infused in a warm place.

Divide the ready-made dough into certain small pieces, approximately 50 grams each. You should get about 7-8 pieces.

Shape into balls, cover with plastic and rest for 15 minutes. During this time, the dough should rise slightly in volume.

Roll out the matching dough into a round cake, and form balls from the bean paste and place in the center of the dough.

Gently wrap the dough so that the filling remains in the center, and firmly pinch the joined edges of the dough.

Then, lightly press down the formed buns so that the joined edges remain at the top and center.

And only then, exactly in the center, make a recess (recess) in a convenient way, as shown in the photo.

Using a knife, make several cuts along the edges of the dough so that the filling pops out slightly.

Place the Korean-style buns on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, cover and let it brew for another 5 minutes.

Lubricate the surface of the product with egg yolk, and sprinkle some sesame seeds in the center of the baking. Transfer the baking sheet to the preheated oven and cook at 200 degrees - 20 minutes, until golden brown.
