First of all, let's prepare the dough: for this, sift flour into a deep bowl, add salt, pour in butter, milk and warm water. If desired, you can add a little sugar, which is not recommended to put a lot, otherwise the product may fall apart during cooking.

Knead medium-firm dumplings in a food processor or by hand. Cover and let it brew for a while.

While the dough is infused, let's prepare the curd filling for the dumplings. To do this, collect the following ingredients in one bowl: cottage cheese, salt, sugar, vanilla powder and a chicken egg.

Mix all ingredients thoroughly. To make the dumplings as tasty as possible, use homemade cottage cheese of medium fat and preferably fresh.

Divide the previously prepared dough into two, roll each part separately into a thin layer and cut out circles using a regular glass.

Place the curd filling in the center of each circle, about 1 tablespoon, taking into account the size.

Pulling up one edge, connect to the other, squeeze tightly and shape the dumplings in a way convenient for you.

Pour water into a saucepan, add salt and bring to a boil. Boil the dumplings in small portions in bubbling water for 5-8 minutes, until they float to the surface.

Using a slotted spoon, catch all the products, transfer them to portioned plates, pour them with sour cream, as is customary, and serve immediately on the table.

Compared to dumplings, dough for dumplings with sweet filling should not be rolled out too thin, otherwise, during boiling, the sugar will corrode the base and the filling will simply fall out.
