In ancient times, when there was still no multicooker and oven, roast with meat and potatoes was cooked exclusively in ovens, by the stewing method and with a small set of products. Homemade roast beef and potatoes
Heat the oil in a cauldron or in a thick-walled saucepan, first fry the pieces of meat in it for 5 minutes, chopped not too finely.
As soon as the beef is golden brown, send the onions, cut into small cubes.
Add the chopped carrots, stir and cook over medium-low heat, lid slightly open, until vegetables are soft.
After about 10 minutes, pour boiling water into the cauldron so that the liquid protrudes slightly and covers the cooking ingredients. Stir and bring to a boil.
Add tomato paste, or better tomatoes, chopped garlic, salt and pepper to taste. Stir the contents of the cauldron, reduce heat, cover with a lid and continue cooking on a slow simmer for 30 minutes, until the potatoes are ready.
The same principle can be used to make delicious roasts from any type of meat, including chicken. There are a lot of options for cooking everyone's favorite dish. Homemade roast is prepared from vegetables, cabbage, with zucchini, stewed in a pan and baked in the oven. - Treat meat and rinse. Cut into medium pieces, about 3 cm each. Divide the potatoes coarsely. Put all the chopped food into the multicooker bowl. Add tomato paste, salt, hot spices, pour boiled water and mix the ingredients.
- Tightly close the lid of the combine, set the "Stew" program, select the type of product - it is meat, set the cooking time - 1 hour 30 minutes, start the multicooker using the "Start" button and wait until the end of the program.
