Stewed cabbage with potatoes

We wash the cabbage, divide it into small pieces, remove the head of cabbage and chop the leaves.

Pass one small carrot through a medium grater.

Peel the potatoes and cut into medium pieces.

Cut the onions into thin half rings.

Heat the oil in a frying pan and put the onion first.

Pass the onion until transparent over medium heat.

Add chopped cabbage with carrots, pour 50 ml of warm water on top, put tomato paste, cover the frying pan with a lid and simmer for 5 minutes, until half cooked.

Stir the cabbage and carrots, put the potatoes, pour another 100 ml of water, close the lid tightly again and cook the cabbage with potatoes in the slow stewing mode - 10 minutes.

Then, add salt to taste, a little allspice black pepper, stir and continue cooking for another 5 minutes, until the potatoes are ready.

We pour the stewed cabbage with potatoes into the dishes, decorate with herbs and serve.
