Oatmeal cutlet recipe

Usually, pork and beef with the addition of a dry loaf is used for cooking homemade cutlets and zraz. Well, in our case, bread is replaced with oatmeal. In such a non-tricky way, homemade cutlets with oatmeal are obtained not only juicy and tender, but also with a completely different taste and with a unique aftertaste.

If you don't like garlic, you can exclude it from the list of ingredients, or reduce the amount to one clove so that the taste of the garlic is subtle.

Step-by-step recipe for oatmeal cutlets

Pour water or milk into a deep bowl, beat in one egg, stir beforehand and add oatmeal.

In another bowl, place the prepared minced meat for cutlets, add the onion, chopped into small cubes, and a couple of cloves of minced garlic.

Sprinkle a little salt to taste, also add a small amount of ground hot pepper.

Transfer the oat mass soaked in milk to the minced meatball and stir all the ingredients thoroughly.

Form the cutlets into round cutlets with a diameter of about 10 cm from the prepared mass and roll in flour.

Heat vegetable oil in a skillet and fry meat patties with oatmeal on both sides for 2 minutes, first over high heat, then reduce heat and continue cooking with a lid on for 8-10 minutes. Do not forget to turn over in the process.

When ready, transfer them from the pan to a hotel dish and let the oil drip slightly. And then we serve cutlets with pasta or mashed potatoes.

Taking oatmeal as a basis, you can prepare not only a hearty dish, but also healthy food for the body. And to make the cutlets completely dietary, it is enough to use poultry meat for minced meat.
