How to stew cabbage with meat and beans
For such a dish, it is better to take pork meat in moderation, for example, a shoulder or neck. Dry the washed meat and cut into small pieces, no more than 2 cm thick.
Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Pour in a sufficient amount of vegetable oil and lay out the pieces of meat. Fry over medium heat for 2-3 minutes on each side, until golden brown. Salt and pepper a little to taste.
Meanwhile, chop the white cabbage. This can be done using a special grater-shredder (for lovers of fine slicing) or simply with a sharp knife (this is how a larger slicing is obtained).
Transfer shredded cabbage to a skillet with grilled meat. Season with spices. Cook over low heat for 5-7 minutes, stirring constantly, so that vegetables and meat do not burn.
Then peel and wash onions and carrots. Chop the onion into thin half rings, and grate the carrots on a coarse grater. Add vegetables to the rest of the ingredients in the skillet. Pour in a glass of boiled water, continue cooking over moderate heat for another 5 minutes, then cover the pan with a lid and simmer for 15 minutes.
After this time, the vegetables became softer, so you can add beans canned in tomato. Stir with all ingredients and cook, covered, for 10 minutes.
At the end, add a few tablespoons of sour cream, mix again and simmer for another 5 minutes, until vegetables and meat are fully cooked.
