Rosy duck with potatoes, a real Christmas recipe. This dish with its mouth-watering aroma will bring together all the guests at the festive table.
Cooking time 1 hour 30 minutes
Duck 1 pc
Potatoes 6 pcs
Head of garlic 1 pc
Provencal herbs 1/2 tbsp l.
Mayonnaise 1 tbsp l.
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Wash and dry the duck.
Rub with salt and pepper. Brush with mayonnaise and place in a deep baking sheet. Sprinkle garlic cloves over the top. Bake in the oven at 180 degrees C for 1 -1.5 hours.
Peel and cut the potatoes into halves. Season with salt and dry herbs. Take 2-3 tbsp from the baking sheet. tablespoons of melted fat and add to the potatoes.
Place the potatoes on the sides towards the duck. Cook for about an hour more.
Allow to cool and place on a dish. Serve with vegetables and herbs.
