Easter buns with dried apricots are fragrant airy buns with a delicious surprise inside.
Cooking time 2 hours 10 minutes
Milk 3.2% fat. 350 ml
Butter 80 g
Eggs 2 pcs
Vanilla sugar (1 sachet) 5 g
Dry yeast 10 g
Dried apricots 100 pcs
Sugar 50 g
Salt 1/2 tsp
Wheat flour of the highest grade 400-450 g
Egg for greasing 1 piece
Pour half the sugar and yeast into a bowl.
Add half the warm milk and 2 tablespoons of flour. Put in a warm place for 30 minutes.
Beat eggs and add to a bowl. Add sugar, salt and vanilla sugar.
Add melted butter.
Add flour in portions and knead the dough.
Grease with vegetable oil and leave in a warm place for 1 hour. Knead well and set again for 1 hour.
Pour dried apricots with boiling water for 20 minutes.
Dry and cut into slices.
Knead the dough on the table with flour for 20 minutes. Divide into parts.
Put dried apricots on dough cakes and wrap dried apricots inside.
Cover a baking sheet with parchment, grease with butter and sprinkle with flour. Add the buns and leave for another 15 minutes.
Brush with beaten egg and make cuts.
Put in an oven preheated to 180 degrees C for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
Cool the buns and serve.
