Kvass from jam

We bet you have not tried homemade kvass from jam? But in vain! You will definitely like it and will perfectly quench your thirst.

Cooking time 15 minutes


Water 2 l

Jam (berry) 300 g

Raisins 5-6 pcs

Sugar 1 tbsp. l.

Dry yeast 3 g


You can use any jam, we have cherry jam.

Transfer the jam to a jar and cover with warm clean water. Mix well, the berries will sink to the bottom.

Mix yeast with sugar.

Add to jar.

Add raisins.

Close the lid and put in a warm place for 5-7 hours. When the berries and raisins rise to the top, the drink is ready.

Strain without sediment through a sieve, seal well and cool.

Kvass from jam is ready. You can enjoy natural light intoxicating drinks on a hot summer day.
