Christmas mulled wine

Christmas mulled wine is a great excuse to walk in frosty weather with friends or warm up after a walk at home by the fireplace.

Cooking time 15 minutes


Dry red wine 400 ml

Water 130 ml

Sugar (sand) 2 tbsp. l.

Apple 1 pc

Orange 1 piece

Ginger root 1 pc

Star anise 2 pcs

Cinnamon stick 1 pc


Pour water into a saucepan, add spices. Simmer for 3-4 minutes (until the aroma of the spice wakes up the whole house).

Cut the orange and apple into pieces.

Add fruit to a saucepan and cook for another 2-3 minutes.

Add wine and heat well (do not boil).

Add sugar and leave under a lid in a warm place for 10-12 minutes (wrap under a blanket).

Pour into glasses.

Christmas mulled wine is ready. Can be served in freezers. :)
