Sugar 200 g

Citric acid 3 g


Sort the cherries, remove the tails.

Wash the berries well.

Put berries in clean jars by 1/2 of the volume.

Pour boiling water over and cover, leave for 10-15 minutes.

Drain the water from the cans into a saucepan.

Add sugar and citric acid. Based on 1 liter of 200 grams of sugar and 3 grams of citric acid.

Boil syrup and pour into jars.

Seal the jars with lids and put in a warm place overnight.

Cherry compote is ready. The finished compote can be stored at room temperature.
