Pickled green tomatoes for the winter

Pickled green tomatoes are a delicious appetizer and addition to any meat dishes. With this recipe, you can make the most delicious pickled green tomatoes for the winter.

Cooking time 30 minutes


Green tomatoes 1-2 kg

Water 1 l

Hot pepper 1 pc

Sugar 2 tbsp. l.

Salt 2 tbsp l.

A clove of garlic 4-5 pcs

Dill whisk 2 pcs

Bay leaf 4 pcs

Black peppercorns

Vinegar essence 70%


Put 2 cloves of garlic, 1 whisk of dill, 2 bay leaves, 5-7 peas of black pepper in clean jars.

Rinse and dry green tomatoes.

Wash hot red pepper and cut into pieces.

Cut the tomatoes into pieces and put in jars.

Add a slice of red pepper to each jar.

Rinse parsley and dry.

Place a small bunch of parsley on top in jars. Pour boiling water over and cover for 15 minutes.

Pour the water into jars and add 2 tablespoons of salt, 2 tablespoons of sugar per 1 liter. Boil the marinade.

Pour the marinade into jars and add ½ teaspoon of 70% vinegar essence per 1 liter jar.

Tighten the jars and put in heat until they cool completely.

Pickled green tomatoes are ready for the winter. Store in a cellar.
