Pickled cucumbers with citric acid

Delicious and crispy pickled cucumbers with citric acid and lemon wedges. And you can always tell where the cucumbers are with citric acid.

Cooking time 30 minutes


Cucumbers 2, 5 kg

Dill umbrellas 2-3 pcs

Cherry leaves to taste

Currant leaves to taste

A clove of garlic 4-5 pcs

Sugar 2 tbsp. l.

Salt 2 tbsp l.

Lemon 1 pc

Citric acid 1 tsp


Rinse cucumbers well.

Wash the jars well. Put an umbrella of dill, 3 cherry leaves and 3 currant leaves in each, a couple of garlic cloves.

Lay the cucumbers by cutting off the tails.

Add a couple of lemon wedges.

Lay the cucumbers tightly to the top. Pour boiling water over the neck and cover with lids for 15 minutes.

Drain the water into a saucepan and add sugar and salt at the rate of 1 liter 2 tablespoons of salt, 2 tablespoons of sugar. Add 1 teaspoon of citric acid to 1 liter of boiling marinade.

Pour marinade into jars and twist. Put in a warm place until it cools completely.

Pickled cucumbers with citric acid are ready. Store in a cool place.
