A view from the basin

Plum jam is easy to prepare. For this recipe, use overripe plums. If the peel is still bad to go away, then just dip the plums in boiling water for a few seconds.

Cooking time 30 minutes


Garden plum 2-3 kg

Sugar (sand) 2, 5 kg

Citric acid 1 tsp


Rinse the plums well.

Remove the skin from the drain and remove the seeds.

Transfer the plum mixture to a large saucepan and beat with a blender until smooth.

Add sugar and stir.

Cook over low heat for 25-30 minutes, be sure to remove the foam after boiling.

Add citric acid and boil for another 2-3 minutes.

Pour into clean jars and twist. Put in a blanket for a day.

The jam from the plums is ready. Keep in the cellar.
