Bell pepper lecho for the winter "Like Mom's"

Slices of bell pepper will melt in your mouth, forcing you to reach for the salad bowl with lecho more and more. Lecho "Like Mom's" is an excellent appetizer to any table.

Ingredients

Red bell pepper 2 kg

Onion 0.5 kg

Tomatoes 1 kg

Vegetable oil 200 ml

Sugar (sand) 1 tbsp. l.

Salt 2 tsp

Vinegar essence 70% (based on a three liter saucepan) 1 tsp.

Ground black pepper to taste

Preparation

Wash the bell peppers well.

Cut each into halves and remove seeds.

Cut the peppers into slices and place in a large saucepan.

Peel the onions.

Cut into small cubes and fold over the peppers.

Wash the tomatoes well.

Cut the tomatoes into slices and place in a saucepan.

Add salt, sugar and butter. You can add ground black pepper to taste.

Put the pan on the fire and cook covered for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.

Add vinegar to the finished lecho and mix.

Arrange in sterile jars.

Twist. Wrap up under a blanket for a day.
