For the recipe, take ripe, fragrant, dense apples. Cut into slices that are not very large, but very thin slices can simply boil down into porridge. Your efforts will be worth making the apple wedge jam the favorite in the house.
Cooking time 2 hours
Apples 2 kg
Sugar (sand) 2 kg
Water 200 ml
Rinse and dry the apples.
Cut the apples into wedges, removing the core.
Pour sugar into a saucepan.
Add water and boil the syrup.
Add apples to syrup and stir.
Cook until boiling, remove from heat and leave for 1 hour.
Boil again and leave for 1 hour. Bring the jam to a boil for the third time, remove the foam. The apples turn golden and the syrup thickens.
Pour into jars. Tighten with lids.
Sliced apple jam is ready. Store in a cellar.
Bon appetit and delicious winter!
