This is jam, for which your children will run in the refrigerator early in the morning. The duet of apples and cherries is created for toasts and crackers, thick jam is good for filling in pies and pies.

Cherries 500 g
Sugar (sand) 1, 2 kg
Water 150 ml
Collect and sort apples. Wash and dry well.
Cut into quarters and core.
Rinse the cherries well and sort.
Put in a saucepan and add water.
Cook over medium heat, stirring until the apples are soft, about 10-12 minutes. Cool the apple and berry mass.
Rub through a fine metal sieve.
Pour into a saucepan. Add sugar and stir.
Boil until boiling, remove foam and simmer for another 10-15 minutes.
Pour the finished jam into clean jars.
Close with lids and put into the cellar.
