Tomato salad for the winter

A delicious vegetable tomato salad with bell peppers and carrots will take its rightful place in your cookbook. The recipe requires a minimum of effort, and in winter you will enjoy its summer flavor.

Cooking time 35 minutes


Tomatoes (large and small) 2-3 kg

Pepper 3-4 pcs

Bulb onions 2 pcs

Carrots 1-2 pcs


Bay leaf

Vegetable oil

Vinegar 9%

Black peppercorns




Wash the tomatoes.

Wash and peel well onions, peppers and carrots.

Cut small tomatoes into halves, large quarters, etc. Place in a deep bowl.

Add onion in half rings, chopped pepper strips and grated carrots.

Stir the vegetables.

In 0, 5 liter cans add bay leaf, 5 black peppercorns, 2-3 cloves each.

Arrange vegetables in jars. Add 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 1/2 teaspoon of sugar and 1 teaspoon of vegetable oil in each jar on top of the vegetables. Pour cold water into each jar to the top. Place in a pot of cold water up to the shoulders.

Put on fire after boiling water in a saucepan. Sterilize the jars for 3-5 minutes. Add 1 teaspoon of vinegar and roll up. Put in a fur coat for a day. Tomato salad for the winter is ready. Keep cold.
