Plum and onion appetizer "Georgian style"

Plums can be a great snack for the winter. This Georgian style plum and onion appetizer will be an excellent addition to any meat dish in winter.

Cooking time 45 minutes


Plums 500 g

Large onion 3 pcs

Garlic clove 3-5

Vegetable oil 20 ml

Red hot pepper 1 pinch.

Vinegar 9% 2 tbsp. l.

Salt to taste


Wash and sort the plums.

Cut into slices.

Finely chop the onion and fry in vegetable oil.

Add sliced ​​plums and simmer for 3-5 minutes.

Add salt, pressed garlic and pepper. Add vinegar and stir.

Transfer to clean jars.

Put in hot water for sterilization for 5-7 minutes from the moment of boiling.

Roll up and cool. Keep cold.
