A jar of thick, fragrant plum jam will cheer you up in the cold winter and remind you of the warm days spent in the country.
Cooking time 50 minutes
Plums 3 kg
Sugar 2, 5 kg
1/4 cup water
Sort the plums and wash.
It is better to take plums that have poor bones. Remove the seeds by simply kneading the plums with your hands. If the plums are dry, you can add water as desired. Put on medium heat and cook until mushy.
Cool and rub through a sieve.
Add sugar and cook over low heat for 30-40 minutes. By boiling the mass to the desired density.
Pour hot into sterile jars and seal.
