Dandelion Jam with Citric Acid

According to this recipe you can make delicious delicate dandelion jam or, as it is also called, dandelion honey.

Cooking time 1 hour


Dandelion flowers 300 pcs

Water 1 l

Sugar 1 kg

Citric acid 5 g


Collect freshly blooming dandelion flowers.

Use scissors to separate the sepals from each flower.

Place in a saucepan and cover with water.

Cook over medium heat for 30 minutes.

Strain the broth through a fine sieve.

Add sugar for 1 liter of 1 kilogram of sugar.

Simmer for another 30 minutes, add citric acid. Boil for another 30 minutes until thick.

Pour the finished jam into clean and dry jars and seal.

The dandelion jam is ready. Store in a cool, dark place.
