Collect the grape clusters and remove dry twigs and rotten grapes. Rinse well under running water.
Put the brushes in clean jars.
Pour boiling water over. Pour the water from the jars into a saucepan and add the sugar. Boil the syrup.
Pour in hot syrup and roll up the jars.
Put in a fur coat for a day. The grapes in syrup are ready for the winter. Keep cold.
