Tomato salad for the winter

This tomato salad for the winter turns out to be simply excellent. An excellent appetizer is in great demand at the festive table.

Cooking time 40 minutes


Tomatoes 1-1.5 kg

Bell pepper (large) 1 pc

Onion 1-2 pcs

Salt 1 tbsp l.

Sugar (sand) 2 tbsp. l.

Vegetable oil 50 ml

Vinegar 9% 20 ml


Rinse and sort the tomatoes.

Peel the pepper and onion.

Cut the tomatoes into halves and place in a bowl.

Add chopped onion in half rings and bell pepper in small strips.

Add finely chopped dill.

Add vinegar and vegetable oil.

Add sugar and salt. Mix well and let it brew for 1 hour.

Transfer to clean jars.

Put in a deep saucepan, put a towel or cloth on the bottom. Pour cold water over the shoulders of the jars and put on fire.

After boiling, wait 5 minutes and carefully remove the jars. Tighten and keep in a fur coat until it cools. Tomato salad for the winter is ready. Store in a cool cellar.
