Vegetable salad for the winter

This vegetable salad will certainly delight your loved ones in the cold winter. How great it will be to open a jar of juicy summer vegetables that remind you of warm days.

Cooking time 30 minutes


White cabbage 300 g

Onion 1 pc

Carrots 2-3 pcs

Bell pepper 2 pcs

Sugar 1 tsp

Salt (can be added to taste) 1 tbsp l.

Vinegar 9% 3 tbsp. l.


Peel the onions, carrots and peppers.

Chop the cabbage and put in a bowl. Add chopped peppers into strips.

Grate the carrots, cut the onion into half rings.

Toss all vegetables in a large saucepan. Add sugar, salt, 9% vinegar.

Wrinkle a little with your hands. Leave on for 30 minutes.

Put the salad tightly in clean jars, pour the remaining brine to the top.

Put on sterilization, for 10-15 minutes, 0.5 liter cans.

Close with lids and turn upside down.

Leave to cool for 12 hours.
