Pickled tomatoes in liter jars

The recipe for delicious pickled tomatoes specially for liter jars.

Cooking time 30 minutes


Tomatoes 2-2.5 kg

Head of garlic 1 pc

Dill umbrellas 2-3 pcs

Bay leaf 4-5 pcs

Carnation bud

Allspice peas

Vinegar 9%




Wash and dry the tomatoes well.

Place the dill whisk and 2-3 garlic cloves on the bottom of clean jars.

Add to each jar two bay leaves 3-5 cloves and allspice buds.

Pierce each tomato in several places with a toothpick.

And put tightly in jars.

Pour boiling water over and cover, let stand for 20 minutes.

Drain the water into a saucepan and add 2 tbsp. tablespoons of salt and 4 tbsp. tablespoons of sugar per 1 liter. Boil the marinade.

Pour marinade into jars and add vinegar to 1 liter jar 2 tbsp. spoons of 9% vinegar.

Roll up the cans and put them in a warm place overnight.

Ready-made pickled tomatoes in liter jars are well stored both at home and in the cellar.
