Green tomatoes for the winter "Lick your fingers", this is a great appetizer of invigorating green tomatoes with onions and carrots.

Green tomatoes 3 kg

Onion 2-3 pcs

Carrots 2-3 pcs

Salt 2 tbsp l.

Sugar 2 tbsp. l.

Vegetable oil 2 tbsp. l.

Black peppercorns 6-8 pcs

Carnation bud 6-8 pcs

Vinegar essence 70% 2 tsp

Dill seed 1/2 tsp


Wash the tomatoes well, remove the tails.

Peel the carrots and onions, grate the carrots, cut the onions into half rings.

Lay tomatoes and onions with carrots in clean jars.

Pour salt and sugar directly into the jars from above (1 tablespoon in each jar).

Add spices and pour in vegetable oil (1 tablespoon in each jar).

Pour plain water up to the neck.

Cover and place in a saucepan with cold water. Put on fire and sterilize for 30 minutes from the moment the water boils in the pan.

Add a teaspoon of vinegar essence.

Roll up the lids, put in heat overnight.
