Pie with potatoes and mushrooms

This extraordinarily delicious potato and mushroom pie should be in every housewife's cookbook.

Cooking time 1 hour

Add 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 1 tablespoon of sugar and 1 teaspoon of dry yeast to the flour.

Stir flour with sugar, salt and yeast.

Add flour mixture to a bowl of water and butter and knead the dough.

Roll the dough into a ball.

Place the dough in a clean bowl greased with sunflower oil and grease a little on top.

Cover with cling film and leave for 20 minutes.

Rinse and dry 300 grams of fresh champignons, peel the onion.

Fry the chopped mushrooms with finely chopped onions in a pan with butter.

Cook the mushrooms and onions, stirring occasionally, for 5-6 minutes over medium heat. Salt to taste.

Peel and halve 4 potatoes.

Put the potatoes in a saucepan, add water and cook until cooked for 12-15 minutes.

Make mashed potatoes from boiled potatoes.

Add 20 grams of butter to mashed potatoes, salt to taste.

Knead the matched dough.

Divide into two unequal parts.

Roll out most of it into a circle and place in a 28 cm diameter mold. Form edges.

Put mashed potatoes on the dough and smooth.

Lay out the fried mushrooms and onions.

Roll out the second part of the dough and cover with the mushrooms.

Pinch the edges and make a small hole in the middle of the cake.

Beat 1 egg in a bowl and brush over the cake.

Bake a pie with potatoes and mushrooms in an oven preheated to 180 degrees C for 25 minutes.

Remove the cake from the oven and cool.

The potato and mushroom pie is ready. Can be served at the table.
