Pancake cake

Pancake cake with red fish is a truly royal dish that will certainly delight your guests. Excellent appetizer and treat for Shrovetide.

Cooking time 50 minutes


Fillet of red fish (salted and smoked) 200 g

Processed cream cheese 100 g

Mayonnaise 2 tbsp l.

Greens 1 bunch

Eggs 3 pcs

Milk 300 ml

Flour (sifted) 1/2 cup

Soda 1 pinch.

Vegetable oil 4 tbsp. l.

Salt to taste


Beat eggs with a whisk.

Add milk, salt, flour, soda, oil. Shake well and let the dough stand for 20 minutes.

Bake pancakes on both sides in a frying pan.

Place the pancakes in a pile and let them rest.

Cut the fish into plastics or small pieces. Mix cream cheese with mayonnaise. Chop the greens. Grease each layer and put greens in turn.

Then we put the fish.

When all the layers are folded. Grease the last pancake on top, sprinkle with herbs and garnish with pieces of fish. Let it soak for 2-3 hours.
