Apple crumble

Apple crumble is a famous English dessert made from apples baked under crumbs of shortcrust pastry. Very tasty and simple.

Cooking time 1 hour


Flour 300 g

Sugar 150 g

Milk 3.2% fat. 120 ml

Butter 100 g

Egg 1 pc

Fragrant apple 2 pcs

Baking powder 2 tsp

Breadcrumbs for 1 tsp.

Flour for sprinkling 3 tbsp. l.

Sugar for sprinkling 3 tbsp. l.

Butter for sprinkling 30 g


Mash the butter in a bowl.

Add milk and egg. Whisk well.

In another bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt and baking powder.

Peel and dice the apples.

Add flour mixed with sugar, salt and baking powder to the liquid mass. To mix everything.

Add apples and gently mix into the dough.

On a separate board, make crumbs from flour, sugar and butter. Mixing ingredients, rubbing between palms.

Grease the mold with butter and sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Spread the dough out and spread the crumb sprinkles in an even layer.

Put the oven preheated to 180 degrees C and cook for 35-40 minutes. Check readiness with a wooden stick.

Cool the finished apple crumble completely and put out of the mold. Cut into slices and serve.
