Snail pie with jam

Thick berry jam (black currant) 200 g

Warm water 300 ml

Unrefined sunflower oil TM "Aleika" 4 tbsp. l.

Sugar 3 tbsp. l.

Dry yeast 1/2 tsp

Salt 1/2 tsp


Pour 300 ml of warm water into a bowl, add 1/2 teaspoon of dry yeast and 3 tablespoons of sugar.

Leave the mixture in a warm place for 20 minutes.

Knead the dough.

Leave the dough in a bowl and brush with one tablespoon of sunflower oil.

Cover with cling film and leave for 30 minutes.

The finished dough will double in volume.

Roll out the dough into a layer with a rolling pin.

Cut the dough into strips 4-5 cm wide.

Put thick berry jam on each strip along the entire length.

Pinch the strips.

Grease the form with sunflower oil and or vegetable margarine, spread the snail strips from the middle.

Simply pinch the strips with the ends towards each other and lay them while there is room in the form, in total you need 3-4 strips with filling.

Leave the cake covered for 20 minutes. At this time, preheat the oven to 180 degrees C.

Bake the snail pie in the oven for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.

Snail pie with jam is ready. Cool the pie and serve.
