Gingerbread cookies for Christmas are a piece of a real winter fairytale that you can cook with your kids. And the soft kneading of the dough makes the finished liver very tender and crumbly.
Cooking time 30 minutes
Flour 130 g
Butter 100 g
Powdered sugar 50 g
Eggs 1 pc
Ground ginger 1 tbsp l.
Baking powder 1/4 tsp.
Protein (for drawing) 1 piece
Powdered sugar (for drawing) 20 g
Lemon juice (a few drops)
Cut the butter into slices into a flat dish.
Add powdered sugar and knead well with your hands.
Add flour around the edges of the dish.
Beat the egg in a bowl with a fork.
Add the egg to the butter, and add the flour and ginger and baking powder.
Roll the dough ingredients from the middle of the dish.
Kneading the dough in a circle with one hand. Roll until a ball of dough forms.
The dough is ready, wrap in a bag and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Then roll the dough into a thin layer and cut out the liver with a mold.
Place on a baking sheet with parchment.
Bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees C for 10-12 minutes.
Judge the finished livers.
In a bowl, beat the egg white and icing sugar.
Add lemon juice.
Make a bag out of parchment and decorate the cookies. Let the glaze dry.
