Honey cookies "Yolochki"

Honey cookies "Yolochki" are such a delight that can be prepared for children for Christmas or New Year, as well as take with you as an original gift.

Cooking time 30 minutes


Flour 150 g

Powdered sugar (for glaze) 100 g

Protein (for glaze) 1 pc

Butter 50 g

Eggs 2 pcs

Honey 2 tbsp l.

Ground cinnamon 1/2 tsp

Soda 1/2 tsp

Lemon juice (a few drops) to taste


Break eggs into a saucepan and add butter.

Add honey, cinnamon and soda.

Put on fire and stir until frothy.

Add flour and stir well with a spoon to make the dough. When the dough has cooled slightly you roll a ball of dough. It shouldn't stick to your hands. Put in a bag and refrigerate for 15 minutes.

Roll out the dough into a layer of small thickness and cut the Christmas trees with a mold.

Transfer to a baking sheet covered with parchment.

Bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees C for 5-7 minutes.

Beat the protein with powdered sugar. Add lemon juice and beat well until smooth and shiny.

Decorate the trees with a layer of glaze. Let dry a little.
